The Philadelphia Orchestra will perform Alexandre Desplat's incredible score live to the film on a 60 foot high screen above the stage. This internationally acclaimed Harry Potter Film Concert Series event is part of The Philadelphia Orchestra's summer residency at SPAC from August 5th through 22nd, 2016. We open our 60th Anniversary Season at SPAC with The Philadelphia Orchestra performing the powerful scores written for the films of the Harry Potter series by Alexandre Desplat for the concert premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. This is a one-time performance at the iconic outdoor Amphitheater of the works written by this French composer for the films of the final installment of the great films of the Harry Potter series, created by the great writer J.K. Rowling and brought to life on the big screen by the great British director David Yates. Conducted by Freer, this great film, the first part of the last installment of the great Harry Potter series of films, is performed live on a massive screen above the performance space of the orchestra by a score that is a true tour-de-force of cinematic music.

Albany Med Health System at SPAC Information

The concert will take place at the venue of Albany Med Health System at SPAC, 108 Avenue of the Pines, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The venue is a covered, climate-controlled amphitheater that can hold up to 5,200 people for reserved seating, or the entire venue of 25,000 people for general admission lawn seating. There are many wheelchair accessible seating locations throughout the venue. Food and beverages, including alcohol and concessions, are available throughout the venue. The venue is located in Saratoga Spa State Park, one of the most beautiful park settings in the country. The box office is open Monday - Friday from 12pm-5pm, Saturday from 10am-2pm and extended hours on event days.

Parking Information

We recommend parking in one of the venue's main lots located off of Route 50. These lots will open approximately 1 1/2 hours prior to the posted gate time and will be $10 per car paid by credit card only. There is an additional lot located in Saratoga Spa State Park that will also be $10 per car. Premier and Reserved parking is also available for an additional charge to park closest to the amphitheater.
